Gastronomic dining at Diva Maldives features three styles of cuisine. There is the Oriental style, taking its inspiration from Lebanese, North African, Indian and Indian Ocean island cuisines. The second style is “Italian” whereas the third style is “Asian”, featuring Cambodian, Thai, Malaysian, and other dishes. Throughout the resort, guests discover the island and the country they are in, while enjoying cuisine from all around the world. The resort's flagship is its gastronomic Japanese restaurant.
Dive center & Water sports
Diva Maldives in the South Ari Atoll is famous for its marine diversity and especially for its whale-sharks. Which we can find here all year round. This luxurious Resort is the ideal base to dive of its 50 dive sites around, some of the most fabulous and famous sites in the world. One of the most famous must be Kuda Rah Thila, the first nationally protected site in the Maldives or Maamigili Outside as whale shark magnet. Most sites are from 5 minutes to less than an hour from the Resort. The boat journey makes diving trips even more enjoyable. Guests set out in dhonis, a traditional Maldivian form of boat, and an experience in itself. We offer here also special excursions like whale sharks safari’s, manta searching, double wreck mornings and magical discovery full day trips.
Water sports offers snorkeling, windsurfing, rubber-ring rides, water-skiing, jet skiing, pedal boats and kayaks are all available, as well as catamaran trips. Catamaran sailing and windsurfing lessons are also given by trained staffs, which hold internationally recognized German VDWS certificates. For safety reasons and to avoid any noise pollution, motorized activities take place well out into the lagoon.
